What is Q27 EVOlaser and how is it different?
The Q27 EVOlaser offers the maximum wavelength diversity for people who want to hit most problems with the widest spectrum. Since different types of cells have a different absorption rates from different wavelengths of light, the Q27 EVOlaser provides the maximum flexibility. We chose this laser for our office for a wider variety of therapies including non-structural or muscles issues. Since 910nm is best for blood work and 637nm is best for superficial application, this quad-wavelength system does it all.
The Q27 has different wave lengths so it can deliver energy deeper into damaged tissues, not only working the surface (lower wave length), but working deeper tissues (higher wave lengths) like chronic back pain from joint or disc degeneration.
How does laser therapy work?
The infrared light gets down into inured tissues and stimulates cellular change in damaged tissue. This will can more oxygen delivered to the area. It also speeds up the rate the cells create energy and it helps the body heal itself. Basically it is driving light into the tissues to stimulate the body’s own healing mechanisms. The laser really works on the mitochondrial level.
NOTE: Using anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) reduces the effects of the laser.
How long does it take?
Give it about 10 sessions for most conditions over a month or 2. If you have the time, closer together will get you faster results in less time.
Chronic problems always take longer, think of it like this, your chronic problem came on slowly over years. If it take a long time to get to that place it will take a long time to come back from it. (Luckily not as long as it took to get there.)
NOTE: Laser works great with HBOT
Cost
20 min session (4 areas) - $50
10 min session (2 areas) - $25
No cost when added onto an HBOT session
